This is Sixty-Something.com — the friendly corner of the internet for people over sixty. Although this website is in its early days the intention is to develop it into a community and hub that just “gets” what it’s like being sixty-something.
We get that:
- Staying active is harder than it used to be
- That it’s normal to wonder, “Will my savings last?”
- Technology sometimes feels overwhelming
- What do I do with my time now I no longer work
- What can I do so I can enjoy my well-earned retirement
Whatever sentiment you have about this time of our lives, we get it! With this in mind it is therefore the plan to develop a hub which is organized into easy sections. Each section containing articles slanted toward people of our age taking into consideration what problems and physical limitations many of us face :
- Mind, Body & Spirit – your mindset matters, and we’re here to help you stay positive, balanced, and connected. Discover quick, calming breathing exercises for your mind, gentle strength and balance routines for your body, and easy ways to connect with others who truly get this stage of life. Plus, get practical tips for better sleep, simple nutrition, and lifestyle ideas that support your overall well‑being.
- Travel – we research destination ideas and mobility and safety tips that the mature travellers would find useful
- Money & Legal – bringing to your attention issues we think you may want to look into, such as the consequences of not having a valid will. We also provide tips on saving money such as energy saving ideas. Additionally, we recognise some of us find ends just don’t meet, we therefore look at ways of earning extra income to supplement our pensions
- Memory Lane – reminders of the culture of our youth through music, film or things of the day
- Easy Tech – being children of the slide rule and later the pocket calculator, modern tech, for many can be overwhelming or confusing. Our objective is to break it all down into simple, jargon-free explanations and checklists
- Hobbies & Leisure – It’s never too late to start something new. We provide suggestions on hobbies and pastimes that may turn into passions that take your life onto a new level of meaning and satisfaction
We care about trust. Content is reviewed for clarity and usefulness, and we keep things straightforward—no hype, no guilt. Your privacy matters; we don’t sell your data. The site is designed with accessibility in mind: readable fonts, clear contrast, and options to make text larger on any page.
This season of life is yours to shape. Whether you want more energy, steadier money, a cozier home, new friends, or a fresh adventure, sixty-something.com is here to help.
